Sanganer is located 16 Kms south from
Jaipur. The Sanganer is one of the famous
town around Jaipur, The town is entered
through the ruins of two Tripolias (Triple
Gateways), Sanganer is centre of hand block
printed textile and handmade paper.
It has beautiful Shri Digamber Jain temple.
The main idol in the temple belongs to Lord
Parshwanath. This temple is same as Dilwara
jain mandir of Mount Abu. Industries besides
the ruined palaces, broken city walls,
triple gateway and a neglected Mughal
garden. Large and small units of block and
screen printers produce some of the finest
hand printed textile in the country. This
textile is popular all over country and
abroad.
The airport of Jaipur is also located in
Sanganer. Sanganer Airport is the only
international airport in the state of
Rajasthan. Jaipur airport was granted
the status of international airport on 29
December 2005.

handmade paper. The handmade paper industry
in Sanger began with an initiative taken by
Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1728. Sanganer
