Hawa mahal “Palace of Winds” is a
most historical monument in Jaipur city.
Hawa mahal built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai
Pratap Singh, the architect of Hawa mahal
was by Lal Chand Usta. The Hawa Mahal
designed with this intension to allow royal
ladies to observe everyday life in the
street below without being seen.
Hawa mahal is shaped like a pyramid and is a
five-storied building; it’s nearly located
to City Palace, Hawa Mahal having 152
windows completes Hawa mahal interior part
designed with fine piece of Rajput
architecture.
