Museums are the best place to visit to know
about the culture and traditions. The Albert
Hall has developed based on the Victoria and
Albert Museum in London. This graceful
building was founded in 1876 by Prince
Albert. It’s designed and devised by Colonel
Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob. It was opened in
1887 as a public museum.
The Royal Albert museum contains a rare
collection of decorative art objects,
pottery objects, paintings, sculptures,
woodwork, natural history specimens, an
Egyptian Mummy and the well known Persian
Golden Carpet. In this museum one gallery is
dedicated to Mehndi, body art and great
Rajasthani motifs and designs are on
display.
